Is an overview of basic seismic principles for non-geophysicists or junior geophysicists who are interested in a good understanding of the seismic tool.

The areas covered are: basic background geology, the fundamental seismic principle, basic signal theory, resolution and bandwidth and energy loss mechanisms.
